Updating the Server - Part 2 I updated the server to the latest Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. While at it, I also update Caddy to the latest version, which in turn update Golang (via xcaddy). I also moved the blog from GitHub over to Codeberg. In case you never heard of Codeberg, from their Getting Started guide: Codeberg is a democratic community-driven, non-profit software development platform operated by Codeberg e.V. and centered around Codeberg.

Updating the Server After almost 3 years - and with Ubuntu 24.04 around the corner - I thought it is about time to take care of my server updates. The following updates where executed: Ubuntu from 20.04 to 22.04 (last LTS to current LTS) update NodeJS 14 (😱) to NodeJS 21. I cannot remember why I even installed node in the first place.
